Sometimes obvious, sometimes hidden, London's wildlife is all around us - from the crevice of a brick wall, to our gardens, rivers, woods, parks and fields.

London has many wildlife sites. Wildweb helps you to find out where they are, what you may see, and how to get to them.

tell us what you see

Information about London's wildlife and greenspace is essential for our work. That information is managed by one of our partners, Greenspace Information for Greater London (GiGL) - London's environmental records centre.

GiGL relies on organisations and individuals submitting records from across London. Tell GiGL what you've seen.

Borough planners, developers, and consultants can access detailed information about what's in their borough, or on their site, by sending a data request to GiGL.

Individuals can access basic information too. Find out 'What's in my backyard' on GiGL's website.
